Digital E-commerce Manager
Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Digital E-Commerce Manager to support in online marketing and content creation, product photoshoots and ensuring the seamless flow of product images and education are shared digitally. This role will involve working closely with our Founder and Head of Product to execute their vision of product through visual storytelling. A strong attention to detail will be needed to ensure the vision for each product is clearly shared across digital channels including, website, emails and social media. The ideal candidate is both creative and technically proficient, with a passion for fashion and digital platforms.
This is a full time position located in our Vancouver office.
Key Responsibilities
Content Calendar/Social Media Plan
Photoshoot Coordination:
- Photoshoot Support: Informed by the creative direction of the Founder and Head of Product, plan and execute photoshoots for new and core products. This will include scheduling, booking talent, securing locations, purchasing accessories and props and coordinating logistics all while staying within set budgets.
- Shot Management: Create a tracker of all shots needed and be responsible for ensuring they are captured, selected, edited, filed and passed off to the correct teams for timely promotion. This will include shots for product pages, website banners, emails and social media.
E-Commerce & Shopify Management:
- Product Page Management: Upload and manage products on Shopify, ensuring accurate product descriptions, images, pricing, SKUs, and other product details.
- Website Updates: Regularly update product pages and collections to reflect inventory changes, new arrivals, and promotions.
- Optimize User Experience: Ensure product pages are visually appealing and optimized for user experience, including navigation, imagery, and descriptions.
- SEO & Copywriting: Craft compelling product copy ensuring product descriptions are optimized for search engines and conversions.
Email Campaign and Flow Coordination:
- Work closely with our Email Agency to ensure timely completion of emails to support the content calendar.
- Review, edit and schedule all campaign emails submitted by the Email Agency. Push for excellence in email design and ensure best practices and branding guidelines are reflected in all promotional emails.
- Monthly review of email success metrics to inform shifts in strategy.
- Stay ahead of email marketing trends and share new ideas with our email marketing agency to test.
Digital Ad Management
- Support in uploading digital assets for Meta ads.
- Update copy, audiences and budget as directed.
Graphic Design Support:
- Experience in graphic design, preferably in Canva.
- Create graphic designs for email marketing, Meta ads, mailers, website banners and social media as needed.
- Assist in the creation of marketing and corporate materials such as brochures, presentations, and digital content
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Commerce, Graphic Design or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce management (Shopify experience preferred) or creative production (internship experience accepted).
- Proficiency in MS office (Excel/Word/Outlook), Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator), Canva
- Experience in Klaviyo, Meta ads, Google ads is an asset
- Passion for the fashion industry with a strong design eye.
- Experience coordinating or supporting photoshoots.
- Experience with product page management and basic SEO principles.
- Proficient in using Shopify or other ecommerce platforms.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Curiosity for change & learning, capable of managing ambiguity.
