The Violet Blazer Ivory

I love the color of this blazer, and I appreciate that it has some stretch / give in the material. These days, too many jackets and blazers are too tight around the arms and across the shoulders. I also have noticed a trend in women's business attire with "bad buttons" where the top [superfluous] buttons on suit jackets are right on where the nipples would be, and it looks awful...this jacket avoids that faux pas!

I purchased a medium based on the size chart. It fits in the shoulders, and as some others said the sleeves are pretty snug especially in the forearms, which is all fine. The problem is the body is really large, and not in a cute oversized way, just in a boxy, too-big way. It was final sale, otherwise I would return it. As it is I may try to get it tailored. Honestly it may be fine for people with a large cup size.

I am so thrilled with the Violet Blazer in Light Heather Grey. It fits like a dream, hugging my curves and making me look 10 lbs lighter but it is perfect for travel and work. I travel a lot and there is nothing that gives me pockets I need for immediate access to travel documents but also the sophistication for the business look no matter where I am.

Pop it in the wash and we're good to go for another flight

For reference: I am almost 5'4", 142lbs, 62 years old. Pants I am comfortable in a L, Blazers a good M.
