The Ashley Dress Long Sleeve V-Neck Cobalt Blue

This is a great dress. I will for sure buy other versions since I love a simple black dress.

Pros:

- The fabric is nice, has some stretch

- Garment is well-sewn

- Good tailoring, a classic cut

- Perfect length even for tall folks

Cons:

- I wish the V-neckline was cut a bit lower, but that’s just my personal preference

- I absolutely hate the hook & eye at the top of the zipper. I find these to be useless and catches on my hair, sweater, coat…everything! I cut it off, and the dress is nowinfinitely better.

- The ribbon zipper pull is weird.

- I also ordered another dress Ashley (the round neck short sleeve one), and expected them to fit basically the same. They do not. This one is true to size, and the other version fits small.

For reference I’m 5’11”, 135lb., curvy body type.

This is my first purchase. I was stunned by this cobalt dress, still waiting for the matching blazer. I am unsure of the durability of the material. sophie Grace says a garment should be worn more than 30 times to légitimate its production. Lets see if this dress passes the test of time…
